A Second Chapter in Bloom: Spring Lavender Hearts

It’s been a while since my last post here, but I’ve been keeping busy behind the scenes—sewing and creating even more beautiful fairy-inspired pieces. ✨

This second batch of lavender hearts feels like a continuation of a story. They are a little brighter, and full of springtime energy. Where the first hearts were quiet beginnings, these ones feel like the moment the garden comes alive.

Soft green felt frames each heart, echoing leaves, and grass. Warm red appears like a blush - love, care, and warmth stitched right into the edges.

In the middle, tiny storybook figures wander through gardens, push wheelbarrows, pick flowers, and pause to enjoy the simple joy of being together.

Inspired by Slow Days and Simple Joy

These illustrations remind me of days gone by . . . . spent outdoors, hands in the soil, laughter carried on the breeze. They speak of shared work and gentle companionship - of love found in ordinary moments.

That feeling guided every choice . . . . . as I made these hearts.

I wanted them to feel alive with warmth, like a small piece of a peaceful world you can hold in your hands.

Made One by One, With Care

Each heart is built in layers and stitched slowly. With scalloped edges, hearts softened and filled until they feel just right. Inside, polyfil and fragrant lavender is tucked away, ready to release its calming scent whenever the heart is touched.

The final detail is the ribbon - green or red - chosen to match the heart’s character and to give it a place to hang. On a door handle, in a wardrobe, beside the bed… wherever it lands, it brings with it a sense of calm and quiet charm.

No two hearts are the same. Small variations in stitching, fabric placement, and shape make each one unique. That’s the beauty of handmade work.

A Little Story for Everyday Spaces

These lavender hearts are meant to live with you. To scent your clothes softly, to add warmth to a small corner of your home, or to be given as a thoughtful gift to someone special.

They’re perfect for marking moments - springtime, new beginnings, anniversaries, or simply as a reminder to slow down.

A heart doesn’t need a reason to be given. Sometimes, it just needs to be shared.

A Heart to Keep, A Story to Continue

This second batch feels like a celebration of growth, of creativity, and of the quiet beauty found in handmade things.

Each heart carries a small story, waiting to become part of yours.

And, this is not the end of the story - just another chapter, stitched gently, one heart at a time. More to follow .......
