MUM Cross Stitch Card with a difference

How many times we end up not knowing what to do with greeting cards ones the occasion is over.

Or always storing them somewhere and end up taking much space.

This time for my mother on Mother's Day I tried something new...

I cross stitched a Lavender sachet Used Aida 16 count and cross stitched a pattern found on Pinterest.

 

Sewed a small sachet with dacron and filled it with Lavender flowers, added few drops of essential oil and packed it inside the cross stitched pocket.

Ladder stitched the opening ......

 And simply secured to to the card with two stitches; one at the top and one at the bottom.

When the occasion is over ..... voila you can take it off the card by removing the two stitches and use the Sachet to decorate and perfume your closet.
